| Description: | The Workshop Registrar is responsible for registering customers to attend HWT and School Sponsored workshops, fielding questions from customers and directing calls to the appropriate Workshop Coordinator and/or other personnel. The Workshop Registrar also provides support to Workshop Coordinators on workshop logistics, including customer communication, managing phone, fax, and online registration data, and compiling relevant reports. |
| Duties: | Manage the registration process for HWT workshops.
Compile and maintain customer/workshop database, such as shopping cart for workshops and webinars.
Compile and maintain weekly ‘Workshop Count’ report.
Assist other HWT staff as needed on special projects.
Ensure filing is performed promptly and accurately.
Coordinate and manage phone and front desk responsibilities.
Oversee interns who assist with registration entry and phone/front desk responsibilities.
Manage and maintain office information sheets and manuals (update as needed).
Provide new employee orientation in regards to general office information.
Assist with general office duties and other miscellaneous responsibilities as needed to support Director.
Enter new pricing and product codes into CMS.
Manage and place orders for workshop inventory.
Oversee the preparation and shipping schedule of the Audio Visual equipment for the HWT sponsored workshops. |
| Qualifications: | High school diploma or equivalent required; B.A. or B.S. preferred.
1+ year related experience in customer service or office management.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Good organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects at once while completing quality work on a timely basis.
Ability to work independently (with direction) and with a team.
Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with co-workers and customers.
Ability to excel in a rapidly changing environment.
Functional knowledge of MS Office.
Knowledge of ACT or similar customer relationship management database preferred.
Strong service orientation.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Ability to work some overtime. |
