GRAPHIC DESIGN INTERN
The Graphic Design Intern is responsible for providing design and administrative support for HWT’s Creative Services operations. This position involves graphic design projects and marketing work related to graphic design.
Flexible daily scheduling is available, but anticipate a minimum commitment of 20 hrs/week. Additional hours are largely dependant upon student’s availability and schedule.

| Duties: | oProvide junior level graphic design support from scanning artwork to editing presentations to working on various marketing collateral.
oPerforms production work in addition to creating fresh designs.
oWork with the design team to organize the graphic design paper files, electronic
files and image library
|
| Qualifications: | -High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
-Functional knowledge of MS Office.
-Good communication and interpersonal skills in dealing with co-workers.
-Strong organizational and problem solving capabilities.
-Ability to work both independently (with direction) and with a team.
-Proficient knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint and MS Word), Adobe CS3 (Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator)
-Strong knowledge of print, typography and color theory.
-Web Design skills (HTML and CSS) preferred.
